It was built in honor of the writer who had been visiting the town within the years 1896 - 1906 and studied archival materials from the "Bratriks" period in Eastern Slovakia. As one of the resources for one part of this trilogy The Bratherhood, he used a threatening letter by a bandit Fedor Hlavatý to burghers of Bardejov. The letter is exhibited in the Museum. Monument stands in front of the Leonard Stöckel´s Grammar School at Jirásková street.

BARDEJOV - Monument to the fallen in Bardejovské kúpele
National cultural monument declared in 1963. Monument to those who died in the First World War from 1920. It is located in Bardejov spa in the park.
In 1971 the Gratitude and Friendship memorial was declared a National Cultural Monument. It is erected in the Slovak National Uprising Square in thanks for the liberation of the town during World War II. Its author is a sculptor František Gibala.
In 1963, the Monument od Gašpar Šeredy was declared a National Cultural Monument. Renaissance monument from 1566 stands under an old linden tree on a road between Bardejov and Dlhá Lúka borough.
BARDEJOV - Monument in the form of a cannon
National cultural monument declared in 1975. The monument in the form of a cannon of the Mikulov regiment was unveiled on January 19, 1972. It is located near the northern bastion in the Municipal Monument Reserve.

National cultural monument declared in 1975. SNP memorial site. It is located near the chapel in Tesný kút.
KRÍŽE - Memorial SNP
National cultural monument declared in 1963. Monument SNP unveiled in 6.11.1960. Authors of the monument are F. Patočka and J. Machaj. It´s located on the hill over the village Kríže.
LIVOV - Memorial place
National cultural monument declared in 1975. Memorial site of the field partisan infirmary (partisan hospital) from 1943-1944. It is located above the village Livov in the forest.
