SYMBOLS OF BARDEJOV TOWN
Coat od arms
Bardejov was given his coat of arms in 1453 by King Ladislaus. It consists of a shield divided in two parts. In the upper blue section there are two crossed halberds, in the upper part is the free flowing gold crown, and golden lily in the bottom. The lower half is filled with seven red - silver split fields, identical with the state coat of arms of the Árpád period. Coat of arms is carried by an angel with spread wings.
Town flag
The flag consists of two horizontal stripes - the upper one is blue and the lower one is red of equal width. Aspect ratio is 2:3. It is attached to the mast.
Town seal
The seal is formed by four-arches tracery filled by the coat of arms of Bardejov including its carrier. Around a tracery there is an inscription with the legend of BARDEJOV TOWN in Slovak and Latin language.
